RED RACER NERITE (Vittina waigiensis)

This snail is a very effective algae eater and will thrive in a mature aquarium that has plenty of algae and biofilm growth. These snails can live up to 4 years and will not reproduce in freshwater conditions. It requires brackish or marine water for it's fry to survive. 

The Red Racer Nerve Snail have different shell patterns and their colors are brought out best by aquarium lighting. 

These beautiful snails are peaceful, safe with plants, have variable shell patterns and colors, amazing scavengers and algae eaters AND they won't reproduce in your aquarium

Diet- Requires very little feeding if there's plenty of algae, biofilm, or decaying plant matter. They will eat algae wafer, Spirulina flakes, Kelp wafers and other high quality food with high plant content but they can be a little finicky at times.
