Refund policy
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, medications and chemicals can not be returned if the seal is broken from use.
If a piece of equipment is purchased that is to be used submerged in the water that item may not be returned or exchanged once it has been submerged unless there is a manufacturers defect with the item.
We suggest you fully inspect the item prior to submerging in water as we will not exchange an item due to a customer simply "not liking it" once it's been submerged.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
The customer will be responsible for shipping the item back to keepfishkeeping.com to receive a refund or credit for the item. Shipping costs will not be refunded if an item is sent back to us simply because the customer does not like the item or they chose the wrong size.

Warranty
If an item is purchased and the customer believes there to be a manufacturers defect KGTropicals/KeepFishKeeping will work with the customer to attempt to solve the issue. If it is determined by KGTropicals/KeepFishKeeping that the item is defective KGTropicals/KeepFishKeeping will organize with the Customer, Manufacturer and Distributor to resolve the issue.
If an item is defective and the customer decides to ship the item back to us the shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. The reason for this is because there are many ways to resolve an issue like sending parts or replacement items, if the customer decides to forgo those options and return the items it is a decision they are making, therefore shipping will be their responsibility.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days. Refunds do not include shipping costs from the original order or the cost to ship the item back to us.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.Â
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
