The Piano snail is a freshwater snail native to Southeast Asia. They are easy and uncomplicated to care for. They prefer a soft substrate like sand, soil, or fine gravel to burrow itself in. They will feed on biofilm, algae growth and detritus. It's also important to feed them snail or shrimp food so they get all the nutrients they need to have a healthy life. The Piano snail has a slow reproduction rate and you won't have to worry about a population explosion. In optimal conditions they may have approximately 15-20 offspring per year.
