Unfortunately I didn't even know that snails needed they're own special food. I had a couple of snail die and couldn't figure out why. I thought they were getting enough with the algae and fish food but it's not always the case. Most of my snails survived fortunately though including my very first two snails. Now between the zucchini and KatsAquatics calcium+nutrition everyone is thriving including my snails.
My snail population have increased and they are outstanding and keep my tank free of glass algae.
Sorry I don’t have a picture but I put a couple pieces of the snail food in after lights go out to reduce other tetras of getting in on the action. When the lights come on it gone. So it must be good!

I have two mystery snails, and I drop one of these in the tank every night for them. It's always gone in the morning. Their shells look much shinier and prettier.
Haven't seen much of a difference on my nerite's shell yet, but I did leave one of these in the aquarium for a few hours and the nerite has enjoyed snacking on a piece in between algae. Very neat shrimp and snail food. The amano in my nano also enjoy these.

The snails seem to enjoy it. Been giving them some 3 days a week. They seem to be more active looking for their treat.
This has been a great discovery! My shrimp and snails as well as my corys go crazy for this stuff! And even if I feed a little too much, there is no problem with it fouling the water as the shrimp eventually eat it all over a day or so. Love it!
