Certified Organic Kelp – A type of marine seaweed, Kelp supplies approximately 60 minerals, 21 amino acids, and 12 vitamins. It also provides nitrogen, potassium, and micro-nutrients, carbohydrates and essential plant hormones. The regular use of Kelp as a feed supplement helps increase the utilization of all ingredients in a complete feed ration, improving the overall health and performance of your herbivore fish. Kelp is a very good natural source of Vitamin K. Almost all other fish foods should use Kelp instead of synthetic vitamin K.
Antarctic Krill – Krill are a type of shrimp-like marine invertebrate animal. Whole Antarctic Krill meal consists of over 60 % high quality protein containing vital amino acids, fatty acids and and vitamins. It supplies minerals such as iron, phosphorus and calcium. It is human consumption grade. Contains a high concentration of Astaxanthin which is a powerful natural pigment and antioxidant. Over 95 % of the pigments present in krill are in the form of Astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is not only a natural pigment, but also functions as a photoprotector and antioxidant. Furthermore it has been proven that Astaxanthin has an effect in rates of growth and immunomodulation of fish.

Sinks to the bottom really fast. Bottom eaters like it.
Does keep good in the tank, my scuds are ravenous but a bit slow. Corys, panda garra, goby, and snails all take it up.
My new baby hillstream loaches are going nuts for this food, even more so than the extreme algae wafers. I thought I would try some more variety in their offerings, and I was not disappointed in this food. It sinks immediately and does not seem to be that interesting to my angelfish in my one tank (which was a huge problem with the extreme wafers).

My fish have always gobbled this stuff up.
I purchased this food because it is available in the 1mm pellet size. The old food I had was 1.5mm pellet semi-floating, but for whatever reason that pellet would float for several days in some cases. This stuff does float for a second, but eventually will sink and the pellet size makes it really easy for shrimp, corydoras, and other bottom feeders that need that omnivore diet. So far they have shown interest, eaten the food really well. I'm happy with it, and I will be trying to find more food in this pellet size. I have tried some stuff similar like the hikari micro pellets, but the fish just didn't touch them at all! This is showing a bit of promise, which is all I really need to see to feel good about the purchase.
