I’m very pleased with these snails. I’ve tried nerites in the past with no success. These came in healthy and scavenging from the start. The one in the picture is a lot more active than the other one
Mystery snails are larger than Ramshorn and Bladder snails. They'll constantly scavenge through the aquarium looking for their next meal. They may not do this at record speed but they'll get there eventually.
Snails are great helpers in your aquarium as they help to keep algae at bay. They'll also help cleaning up crumbs and little bits that accumulate.
These snails are approximately nickel sized.

The Snails came in very lively and have only done better as they are all over the aquarium and seem to be growing. Could not ask for better.

Sunny the Snail arrived safe and sound, and healthy and hungry, on October 2nd. His forever home wasn’t quite ready for him yet (had a setback with the substrate) so he’s been living in a 3 gallon temporary home for a few weeks. He moved into his 7 gallon home this week and is having a ball. He’s gotten so big since he arrived, snacking on plenty of plant matter and algae. He also gets Kat’s Aquatics calcium and protein wafers twice a week, AlgaeMax mini wafers as a treat, and blanched veggies occasionally. Thank you for my new friend!

Snails arrived on time and in great packaging. They were acclimated and up and about after about 30 minutes.....both golden snails are doing great a week in.......
I ordered one golden mystery snail along with 2 blues and they all arrived very well packaged and very healthy. My golden snail though has such a big personality. He or she is my favorite.
I received my gold mystery snail in perfect condition. Followed the instructions of the inserted care card and shortly there after he immediately started exploring the tank. I certainly will be placing another order.

I was a little worried when they arrived and the water was 54 degrees. I warmed the water slowly and acclimated them to my tank. All is great! They are so active and fun to watch. John and Lisa were responsive and wanted updates on their progress. All is great.

Plants seem to be slowly turning green and healthy. I'm new at plants, and having a hard time keeping some of them "planted" in the substrate. The snails are doing great! I used to struggle with snails because my Nitrate levels were too high, but I've been doing many water changes and have the levels down to 40ppm. Still have more work to do with that.

The gold mystery snails arrived happy and moving immediately. They had happy little environments in the bags with greens for travel. I was most pleased that they were young snails, and have already grown a bunch in a couple weeks. It’s fun to watch. I appreciate that they young enough to have long lives here, but not so young they were frail. They were perfect!
