Not only do spiky nerite snails have a unique appearance, they're great at consuming algae, plant safe, peaceful and active. They clean algae off of glass, plants, and decorations. They are known to eat hair algae and keep substrate clean. They're safe with fish, shrimp and plants. You won't have to worry about them reproducing in freshwater like mystery snails and ramshorn.Ā
Diet: Algae, algae wafers, Invertebrate pellets, decaying plant matter and zucchini

Looks just like the picture and they began to walk around and explore the second I put them in the tank! (With antenna extended showing they are happy) Shipping time around 3-4 days. Plant also arrived very healthy.
The package arrived on time and was shipped perfectly. Unfortunately, I believe the heat wave we were experiencing caused the package to become extremely hot, and the stress from the sudden climate change may have contributed to him passing away after just four days. That said, this is still an excellent website for purchasing pets and plants. I would definitely recommend them, but I encourage anyone ordering live animals or plants to be mindful of the destination, shipping conditions, and weather at the time of delivery.
