Mystery snails are larger than Ramshorn and Bladder snails. They'll constantly scavenge through the aquarium looking for their next meal. They may not do this at record speed but they'll get there eventually.
Snails are great helpers in your aquarium as they help to keep algae at bay. They'll also help cleaning up crumbs and little bits that accumulate.
These snails are approximately nickel sized.

I received one gold snail (yellow shell/white body), which I admit is my favorite one of the bunch; one big chunky blue snail; and one that I think is jade (yellowish-green shell/dark body). All are very lively and cute. After drip acclimating them and adding them to their respective tanks, they immediately started scooting all over the plants. Very fun to watch.
They arrived in good condition and after acclamation it wasn't long and they were exploring their new home.

I am absolutely in love with all three of my mystery snails from KG Tropics! I purchased my first as a solo magenta. Beautiful, healthy snail that is thriving. I then purchased an assorted three pack and received one blue, one golden, and one white. All three snails are thriving and very active. We even have our first clutch of eggs as of this week!

I love all three of my mystery snails. They are adorable and relaxing to watch. I am brand new to snail keeping but I have learned a lot already by observing my mystery snails. It looks like one of my shrimps made a friend too. Occasionally one of my shrimp rides on my snails back. At first the snail was irritated at the shrimp but they are now best friends. I absolutely love seeing all them grow until they are huge. I like to spoil them every once in a while with non copper algae wafers and I feed them the 3 in 1 snail food which they love to eat as well. They are so cute and docile and I love them.

I have had fancy goldfish for many years. Lately,, I have been enjoying snails as a wonderful addition to my aquarium. I started with nerite snails, but the beauty of mystery snails have captured my interest even more. In my area we have have limited places to find quality. We can drive 20 to 30 mile to a chain pet store, I may find one snail. The snails I received from you were large, healthy and beautiful. They all survived, but two of them had me worried for a while. All six snails came alive, happy, and trundling around like little tanks. I actually had two die in the same tank within 24 hours of each other, but Lisa was quick to help me ID the problem--my Betta thought the baby snails' tiny tentacles and eyestalks were food. I didn't know Bettas would go for small snails, so her guidance has enabled me to better keep both Bettas and snails. Trust the animals and plants you get from KGTropicals, and also trust them to help you be a better fishkeeper! They know their stuff and they're quick to provide guidance and mentorship to those of us in the hobby. Can't recommend them highly enough!!!!!!!!!
