It and the aquaclear has cleared up my cloudy tank in about a week.
I use the Purigen as part of my chemical filtration in my canister filter in my new 45-gallon tall aquarium made by Marineland. The Purigen is plant safe provides great results.

The Purigen is working great. It helped to reduce the amount of nutrients in the aquarium causing a blue-green algae bloom. I fully agree and recommend this is a great product and works great with Tidal-55 hang on the back filter.
Perfect solution for clear water
I have been fighting brown water in my tank for several weeks. I decided to try Purigen and am glad I did. I put it in my filter last night and awoke to a clear tank.

I use Purigen in my Tidal 35 and my Marina Slim S15 and my water is crystal clear. I’ll contiue to use Purigen in both my tanks and other Seachem products.
I had a tinting problem in the water. Three days after installing the packet the water was crystal clear. I will be ordering more for my other tanks.

Always use this product. Does what it is designed to do.
I use Purigen instead of carbon because of plants and fertilizer. It does not strip out fertilizer like carbon. The water is crystal clear and the nitrates hold steady for me at 20ppm for a planted tank with fish. It is easy to regenerate too. Just follow Seachem's instructions on their website.
