(Tylomelania sp.) Volcano Rabbit Snail

Bright orange body, spiraled shell that is dark brown and sometimes have a deep red color

Similar to the Orange Poso Snail

Reproduce slowly....only a few fully formed baby snails at a time

Burrow in the substrate and prevents gas build up, very common to disappear for a few days and reappear. Prefers a sandy substrate, driftwood and live plants 

Hardy, adjust well to most water parameters

Origin Indonesia

Diet Omnivore, diatom algae  biofilm but will accept a variety of foods like algae and kelp wafers, blanched vegetables

Adult size 4"

Tank size 10 gallon + but more if you have multiple snails
