I have juvenile rainbows and nano fish of a few different species. I mix my food together so the smaller ones and different species get what they need and want. I can’t say that I just feed xtreme products but it is the bulk of what I feed. My fish go crazy for it and I feel like I am feeding quality food. I prefer to support KG tropical when it comes to buying xtreme. I’m sad they no longer sell Bettas but I did get one of the last rescue fish and he is awesome! Hopefully someday I will see Bettas back on their site but til then I continue to shop for my food from them. Great service always!
I have 2 community tanks and some of them love this blend and I have another size pellet for the tanks also feed my Bettas xtreme for Bettas so I love this brand bc my fish love it! I discovered it thru a video that John and Lisa made about the best food for fish. Answer being whatever they will eat right?! I feel good about the ingredients and never go wrong with the variety of foods they have
I love this nano good because I can feed it to everyone in my sorority tank. My betta girls love it. My otos love it. The shrimp, like the fat amano in the picture, tear it up. And the snails clean up what’s left.
I started feeding my small community tank Aquarium Coop's Fry food, and also had some Extreme Nano. Both work really well. Shared both with family to use them up while still (mostly) fresh. I like the small container size for that reason. I have two *geriatric* nerite snails (8 years!) and one Amano who is almost as old. That says a heck of a lot. Thank you for the great service.
This should be a stable for most small and community fish. Easy for most to consume. my discus also love it and eat more of it without spitting it out like they do with larger pellets
This is a great food for smaller fish. I have endlers/guppie crosses; this allows the larger fish to find and eat the food while the fry can eat their specific fry food. The adults always go for the larger pellet while the fry wait wait for the smaller bits.
So you're probably thinking "eh, it's just fish food" right? This stuff even smells like what you'd expect a fish food to smell like. I mention this because this is the first time I've even smelled fish food that smells super fresh and definitely has real fish being used in it. I was using the Micro Pellets from that other company and the Xtreme food is just better ingredients and the analysis proves it. My fish LOVE to eat and they just couldn't get enough of this food. I highly recommend trying this!
