It’s a good filter. I have a couple now and I appreciate having the pump in the tank. I do wish there was built in routing for the power cord.

We installed two Tidal 110 on our 90 gallon. They run at low flow. Media is 5 layers of 1” course black. Very happy with results. Wish skimmer opening was finer. Debris got to both impellers and needed cleaning. As tank cleans, I’m sure it will be less of an issue. Thanks John and Lisa, awesome customer service.

I have a 29 Gallon Aquarium that I got the Tidal 55 for. It works great so far and it was easy to assemble the few parts that need attached. I received my order very fast, (2 days) and everything was packaged great with no damages. I like the ease of slowing or raising the flow and the feature of the motor being inside the tank was what sold me. I highly recommend this HOB Filter and the quality service that I received from KGTropicals.
I saw the reviews on the Tidal filter on YouTube. I liked what I saw and decided to order Tidal 75 for my 55 gal hexagon aquarium. I finally stocked the aquarium with discus, corys and tetras last Thursday. On Saturday I did a water change and cleaned the filter. I was amazed to how much junk it pulled. It works far better than the old Marineland HOB filter I had many years ago. One thing I didn't realize was that the front of the Tidal is wider than other HOB. I say this is due to having the motor in the front instead of in the back like that of my old Marineland. With my acrylic aquarium, the width opening on top was short by about an inch. To accommodate the Tidal, I had to cut the opening and enlarge it. Overall, I am extremely happy with the Tidal and highly recommend it.

Great filter. For a 55 gallon or smaller aquarium. Likely won't fit on a larger tank as it's "tank trim clearance" is only an inch so it won't fit on larger tanks if the trim on top of the tank is more than 1 inch wide (so for instance you can't run two of these filters on a larger tank). Fantastic filter though that does a great job and doesn't have any expensive cartridges to replace plus the in tank pump makes it super quiet and never have an issue with priming. Just hang it on the back of the tank, plug it in, and the filter fills itself and runs flawlessly.

I bought the 110 Tidal Power Filters for my new 75 gallon tank. It is perfect. The water is crystal clear., and it so quiet. Im super thankful for John and Lisa's channel. I would not know the importance of a cycled tank. My order was shipped quickly and their communication with any questions that I have had has been great. Will be buying from them again soon.

One of the best h.o.b. filters I have used on my tank....had it on a 125 along with a Marineland penguin 350 and it blew me away how much this filter outperformed all other filters I had used. Also love the adjustable flow. Super easy to clean and maintain. 10/10 would definitely recommend for any level of fish keeping.

This filter was definitely designed by an experienced fish owner. It's perfect for my 75 gallon tank. I could have gone to my local pet store to pick up my filter same day. I purposely purchased from KGT because I am so grateful for all the informative videos they post. I've learned so much about the hobby from these guys!
It does what they say. Internal pump, no priming and it has an adjustable flow. It comes with K1 media in a media bag and mechanical sponge! The price is budget affordable too! Thanks Seachum and KG Tropicals!

I have this in a 50 gallon tank along with a Aquaclear 110. The other filter I had quit, so I figured I would try the Tidal because John's video was so informative. Works very well. Very quiet. Easy to clean. Thanks for the suggestion. 😁
These are Great filters. Because the pumps inside of the tank it’s whisper quiet. The fact that you don’t have to buy cartridges is amazing. I’ve been using reusable foam filters in mine 35 PPI 40 PPI 50 PPI A thin layer of filter floss and then my bag Of bio rings. Crystal clear water and no worries about drips or flooding from a Bad O-ring. I already owned two 110s 2 75s and I just picked up these 2 35s. Now I do mod mine I seal off the skimmers,and all mine use pre-filters on all the intakes(Just be aware that this will void your warranty). Excellent customer service from KG tropicals received my shipment 2 days after ordering you can’t ask for anything better than that. I’m very satisfied will be shopping here again.

The Tidal 55 is an excellent filter. I love it, and since using it in my aquarium, I’ve noticed a big difference in the aquarium water. It has cleared up and is so clear now. I have spent so much money on other filters and never got the great results like I have gotten with the Tidal 55 filter. I recommend it highly. I turned to YouTube videos when trying to find a filter. John got me to consider it and the biggest reason is that I don't have to worry about power outages and priming the pump.
