Red Root Floaters are exactly what their name says. Small light green plants that float on the surface and in the right conditions will develop a deep red color and super red roots. Low nitrates and high lights are the key to get the full red color out of these, otherwise they'll just stay light green. Still beautiful but not the same as if the conditions are right and they scream red!
These are sold in a bunch in cups.

My second try at red rooted floaters. My problem wasn't the plant but my filter which has a water skimmer on it. I fixed the issue by making a floating ring. My fish absolutely love to hang out under them. I ordered another round as I don't want to wait for propergation. I got low light anubias under them that will benefit also.

I've ordered red root floaters from other places and they were utter crap. These ones I ordered here were and still are doing very well. If you want some good quality floaters this is the place.
These plants they sell are awesome. They always arrive healthy. I have ordered a lot from them and only one plant was dead. They replaced it. I love this company and will only buy plants here. Great selection.
We added the red root floaters to our snail breeder aquarium and unlike other red root floaters we have gotten in the past, these have endured. While the snails do like to munch on them, there have been some that have stayed healthy. Hopefully we can see them propegate.
Received large portions of salvinea and red root floaters. Spread them amongst three indoor aquarium and my outdoor patio pond.

I love these, but no matter where I get them from, they end up dying 🙁. I even killed them from the best plant sellers ever! Should I try duckweed, perhaps?
Honestly these floaters came in rough shape, many MANY floaters didn't have any roots and immediately died, the others (roughly 10%) are doing fine not great. I would stay away as out of maybe 30 floaters I have like 3 or 4 pieces that will actually make it, not great. Love the company,love the people, love the channel ...didn't love my floaters.
Received an average portion and hopefully it will recover after the transition period

Red Root floaters were not in good condition. They all but one have completely melted and turned into mush in my tanks. This is the only problem I have every had with plants from your store.

As I have ordered these same floaters from other vendors I have to say these are some of the healthier that I have received . They are thriving and being enjoyed by my ramshorn snails and little orange shrimp.

Both these and the Java Moss arrived basically almost dead. The floaters fell apart from the roots but have recovered floating around the surface. The moss planted and is coming back. I received these on 21 April. Something must have happened in shipping. Thanks for the vids, and getting me back in after almost 40 yrs!

I have bought a lot of red root floaters from them. They all died but not having to do with KG. I just can't seem to make them happy. Every other plant I have bought from then flourished. Red root are just hard to keep alive.
